Collage of Macro Images

This week I had some pictures that I really liked, such as the pictures of my ukelele, and some that I didn't think would make good photos at all. Overall, though, I had a lot of fun playing with angles and textures. Simple things can seem so different just by the way that they are photographed. It is so fascinating!

  1. I really like how you have the picture of the guitar as a center point and then all the other pictures sort of frame it. Also, nice spider plant shot -- I had one of those too haha.

  2. I love the angle of the guitar and the couple pictures of the animals' paws...neat and interesting. Something I never would have thought of doing.

  3. The picture of the guitar is really beautiful. I think that you did a great job with this project. I tried to take a picture of my dogs foot, but she was moving to much. Than I tried to take a picture of her eye, and she decided to run away. I guess that she did want her picture taken. Once again great job on the collage.

  4. Interesting how the pics on the right side all have a similar color. Was that intentional because I think it works really well.

  5. I really like the feng shui of this picture. Everything is different, but it all fits together and looks like it should be with each other. That may sound confusing, my point is great job! :)

  7. The pictures of the paws made me laugh :) Love the pictures of the ukelele. You have a big range of colors here which is fun. I think you laid this collage out very nicely- it is very organized.

  8. It is interesting seeing the color palette of each of your collages. This is usually due to either the location, the proclivity of the artist, or an explicit decision. Whatever way it happens, this is something to keep in mind as you take you photos and then want to present them in some format or other. Whether it is for fun like this or in a gallery.

    Great job on this!

  9. What a great collage. The two shots of the guitar are intriguing from those different angles.
